Mike joined Jarden in 2015 and is responsible for specialist advice on derivative and commodity markets, with a focus on dairy derivatives including NZX-listed contracts. He advises wholesale farming clients, processors, multinationals and commodity trading houses on trading, hedging and developing comprehensive risk management solutions.
Mike was previously a senior trader at Fonterra, where he was responsible for developing the listed market and built a global network of industry and market contacts. He has worked in financial markets for 15 years, including 10 years with UBS in New Zealand and London.
Mike is a Chartered Accountant and an NZX Derivatives Adviser and enjoys providing clients with additional value as Jarden expands into new areas of expertise.
