Jarden has appointed five people to its Equities Sales and Trading, and Research teams in New Zealand. They are Wade Gardiner (Research), Stephen Carroll and William Marsters (Equity Sales Trading), Franco Gargiulo and Sam Snell (Equity Execution / Operating).

Stephen and William bring deep experience and strong client relationships to the New Zealand market. Stephen has close to 20years' experience with institutional clients here, most recently at Craigs Investment Partners, while William brings more than 11 years across New Zealand and London, including at Saxo Capital Markets. It's also great to welcome back Franco, who spent eight years with us before joining FirstCape, and to welcome Sam at this early stage in his career in equities. We're looking forward to the impact they'll have working alongside the wider team covering domestic and international institutional clients."

The new hires will be based in Auckland and have various starting dates between now and November.
Bios
Wade Gardiner joins the Research team as a Director. He was most recently a senior research analyst at Craigs Investment Partners. Prior to that, he spent 17 years at UBS.
Stephen Carroll joins as a Director and Sales Trader. He brings almost 20 years' experience in the New Zealand market, most recently as an Institutional Sales Trader at Craigs Investment Partners, and prior to that at Citigroup New Zealand.
William Marsters joins as a Director and Sales Trader. He has more than 11 years' experience across financial markets in New Zealand and London, most recently as a Senior Sales Trader at Saxo Capital Markets in London, and prior to that at CGS-CIMB Securities in the UK and Craigs Investment Partners in New Zealand.
Franco Gargiulo re-joins Jarden as a Vice President in Equity Execution / Operating. He previously spent eight years at Jarden as a trader before moving to FirstCape.
Sam Snell re-joins as an Associate in Equity Execution / Operating from FirstCape, where he was a Retail Trading Operator, marking the start of his career in institutional equities.
