Jarden recognised with three wins at the 2026 WiBF Awards

Jarden is delighted to be recognised in this year’s Women in Banking and Finance (WiBF) Awards, which celebrate the individuals and organisations driving diversity, inclusion and leadership across the banking and finance industry.

WiBF Diversity and Inclusive Workplace of the Year

WiBF Inclusive Leader Award – Tracey Chung, Head of Organisational Development and Talent

WiBF Rising Star Award – Zara Baxby, Associate, ESG Research

Julia Down was also a finalist for the WiBF Rising Star Award.

Brigid Meagher, Chief People Officer, said: “One of the things I love about working at Jarden is that our people are empowered at every level to find creative solutions and make an impact. We are incredibly proud of the inclusive culture we have built and of the social impact our teams across Australia and New Zealand continue to make.

We are thrilled that Tracey’s leadership has been recognised. She has an amazing ability to turn ambitious ideas into practical change, both within our firm and more broadly across our industry, while continuing to build on the great culture we all enjoy.

We are equally delighted to see Zara recognised as a Rising Star. From her first day as an intern in Corporate Finance to her current role as an Associate in ESG Research, she has demonstrated leadership, curiosity and impact well beyond her career stage. She is a fantastic ambassador for Jarden, and we are excited to see where her career takes her.”

On accepting their awards, Tracey Chung said: “While the award is for an inclusive leader, it is the team that has brought this to life to ensure that we build an inclusive workplace.” Zara Baxby said: “There have been so many people who have been instrumental in getting me to where I am today, so I want to say a huge thank you to my family, my friends, and everyone at Jarden. Each of you has played a different role in my journey, and I’m incredibly grateful for the support, encouragement and opportunities you’ve given me along the way.”

This is the third consecutive year Jarden has been a finalist for Diversity and Inclusive Workplace of the Year, and this win reflects several years of sustained work across the business – from unlimited women’s health leave and gender-neutral parental leave, to the precinct-wide network Jarden has built across One Farrer Place, which has raised tens of thousands of dollars for Jarden's social impact partners while reaching over 3,000 tenants through women’s health and wellbeing campaigns.

Jarden's team continues to focus its efforts beyond the firm with the “Golden Triangle” initiative to raise awareness and funding for the Australian Centre for Gender Equality and Inclusion @Work, located at The University of Sydney Business School. The initiative aims to bring together organisations across One Farrer Place, Aurora Place and Chifley Tower to contribute meaningfully to research and drive industry-wide change.
